How are any of them considered good enough on from to play international football

  2. Baffling… relegation fodder until the international break and all of a sudden good? Don’t understand it.

    COYS forever

Really happy for Danso, i still believe he is a pretty solid defender who quietly goes about his business. It’s a shame that the carnage going on at this club diminishes any of our players positives

  4. At least half of these players have had extremely poor seasons and are very lucky to be called up at all.

Danso has been a rock and Archie Gray is brilliant but you could argue everyone else has flattered to deceive at the best of times.

So, who does that leave? Kinsky, Austin, Udogie, Souza, Gallagher, Paulinha, Richarlison, and all the injured folks (Bentancur, Maddison, Bissouma, Kudus, Kulusevski, Odobert, Davies).

Do any of the other relegation battling teams have that many international players? (West Ham, Leeds, Forest?) or do they all now get 2 weeks of training and preparation for the remaining 7 games?

  6. You know what I find most funny about these call ups?

Argentina. Spain. France. England. Most people’s 4 favourites to win the world cup.

I can tell you now. Any of these players get anywhere near the pitch and those sides aren’t winning the World Cup.

And don’t give me Romero. He was at fault for the Saudi loss and Messi won that final.

If league form was of any importance, Romero would be deservedly dropped. Would love to see it tbf

  8. Amazing the amount of senior team call ups, yet we can’t muster a W in the Prem. Wild stuff.
