  1. Why not Cama on the left and Bellingham instead of Pitarch? Or just Guler instead of Pitarch?

  2. There is no replacing Mbappe pressing and running. If he doesn’t start doing that we are not gonna win anything. As simple as that.

no guler? man give him the praise where it is due. This guy is the reason why we are so quick in transition. Those quick decision and passes are inch perfect. Pitarch will be benched. Our midfield will be most likely Guler, Bellingham. Tchouameni and Valverde.

  4. I think Bellingham is going to screw up the flow by taking out Guler

I love Thiago running around. He’s probably going to be benched after Mbappe and Bellingham return

  5. we should, but I don’t think we can realistically. The problem here is that Bellingham won’t take the role of Guler, and he is more prompt to go to attack, while Guler sits back to do the pass. Pitarch I think is doing well sitting besides Tchoumeni and helping, but cannot take that role and Valverde is working now more like a RW, and I think he is more usefull on that side, so not really.

Pitarch is not Real Madrid starter level yet. Guler or Camavinga must start above him, especially against Bayern and Barca.

You can argue Pitarch is very promising but we need to stop overating him, he is not ready to be a starter.

lol, our style is a lot more similar to Atletico than it is to PSG,Barcelona, Bayern, City. It’s unfortunate that we wont see any system manager under Perez. I am not saying that we should have an 80% possession and tiki-taka stuff, but a middle ground where for example, instead of us adjusting our tactics against PSG (example), they would try to adjust to OUR game.

Now, I do understand that we beat Atletico and City, but football is becoming more dynamic where a collective effort is more valuable than an individual one. It will be more visible as years go by.

I am not even talking about the fact that 95% of the season, we play against low block teams which we have struggled for YEARS. This is where we have a huge problem that typically costs us the whole season sometimes

  8. there is no magical 11 for every type of match. sometimes mbappe and vini do not work together sometimes do.
we must place castilla boys more whom consider to be part of the team not his individual business. pitarch and palacios should have more times.

    100%

But in most games Arda over Thiago would make more sense. And then either Arda LM and Jude CM or the other way around depending on the opponent.

Like it or not, with this setup we’ll struggle in upcoming matches. If you have two players not pressing, not cutting passing lanes, and just walking while the opponent builds up easily, it becomes a real problem.
Brahim was the first to initiate the press, and Valverde’s goal in the derby mainly came from that – Brahim started it, then Valverde took advantage.
Now the question is: will Mbappe or Vini do the same? I doubt it

  11. lol as long as vitinha, pedri or bruno fernandes don’t join real madrid arda won’t be dropped

That midfield is scary, for RM supporters lmao
Ball will never reach to Vini and Mbappe.

  13. Bellingham needs to earn his minutes, he hasn’t been himself in forever. Pitarch and Guler are my starters even though Jude is back.

  14. Yes, it is just mbappe does not press really well, we all saw that in the last game against atleti.

  15. crazy take considering you want to bench the guy who is top 5 in assists and chances created in la liga and UCL

  16. Vini and Mbappe is already too much, add jude and we will be back to the same old chaos.

I could see Guler shifting into Brahim’s false 9 role and Mbappe sitting. Would require massive balls from Arbeloa but it’s clear our recent success has been based on humility and hard defensive running

  18. Dropping Guler and having Tchoua and Pitarch in the middle would be horrendous imo. Do we not remember what it was like when we had absolutely no offensive passing and vision? Trent can’t do it on his own especially at right back. Love Tchoua and think Pitarch has a ton of potential. We play a few full games with them in a double pivot and no guler I guarantee you see everyone start complaining about how they have no passing and vision and we’re stagnant.

  19. The answer is: Can we? Sure. Will it be fine? No……playing with 1 and a half defenders is not a good idea.

  20. I see many in the sub asking for Guler and Bellingham to play together, and bench Pitarch. Either you have not seen the previous games or you want everything to crumble again. Bench Pitarch and see everything go back to January this year, are we mad???? It’s been already abundantly clear that Guler and Bellingham cannot play together at once, you need an a guy to move the ball through the centre and moves the team and that’s not Guler or Bellingham as it has been already clear.
