    # An update on Dorgu’s rehabilitation

**Manchester United winger Patrick Chinazaekpere Dorgu is leaving no stone unturned as he continues to work hard on his rehabilitation.**

The 21-year-old sustained an injury during January’s entertaining 3-2 win over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, shortly after he’d scored a Goal-of-the-Season contender from range.

As fans will remember, Dorgu also scored in the preceding 2-0 win over Manchester City at a raucous Old Trafford, underlining his quality and potential for the future.

While Patrick’s injury was an unfortunate setback, the Denmark international has maintained a positive mindset and he is working diligently with the club’s medical staff at Carrington.

In our exclusive footage from the Carrington gym – which you can watch above – **Dorgu can be seen focusing on his strength and conditioning under the supervision of coaches.**

**The video provides a fascinating insight into the countless small details that lead to progress while players are recovering from injury.**

**Although there is no timeframe on Patrick’s recovery, he is working carefully with a view to returning this season.**

Carrick’s Reds have seven remaining fixtures to play, against Leeds United, Chelsea, Brentford, Liverpool, Sunderland, Nottingham Forest and Brighton & Hove Albion.

It is so unfortunate that he got hurt at the peak of his performance in his United career.

Hope it doesnt break his confidence, but he got great momentum before that. Fuck.

I wonder which stones that Patrick is turning are usually left unturned during the recovery process.

Really think that Dorgu’s injury is a big reason for the drop off from those first 2 games to the rest of Carrick’s tenure. He provides so much pace and energy to the attack. Can’t wait for him to be back hopefully he is there to start coming off the bench against Leeds and Chelsea. If he can be a consistent performer at left wing it could save us millions.

Need him but I hope we don’t rush him. If he needs to wait it out until next season, I’m all for it. Him, Senne, Leny and Air Sesko are our future, hopefully with JJ Gabriel.

  6. Man united leave no stone unturned as they once again use Patrick Chinazaekpere Dorgu’s full name in all official communication.
