I know he’s delivering good performances lately but for some reason he seems invisible on the pitch. During Xabi’s time he kept feeding Mbappe assists like they were nothing. He’s a chance-making machine and we should capitalize on his abilities.

Imagine next season. I bet he scores bangers in training all the time but on matchday he misses that confidence.
This season he worked on his physique, defending and escaping on pressure. I saw big gains.

From the start of the season I noticed a few areas he is improving on:
1. Better environmental knowledge. He now checks his surroundings more and act accordingly.
2. Vision. He is not relying on short pass accuracy. He noticed he had a talent on long passes as well and that unlocked whole lotta pass options.
3. Strength: he is getting stronger every week. One and ones are getting more physical.
4. Defence. He is getting better defensively and not taking unnecessary risks at passing out of defense.
He is on the road to become a new Modric lads.

The guy is learning but I dont think he will be a superstar but a good Real Madrid player
I dont think we will see him in top-10 balloon dor candidates but he may be a reliable player for a top team.
