The closures will be in place between March 28, 2026, and September 27, 2027.
BCP Council has confirmed the measures will apply whenever the emergency helicopter lands or takes off.
The restrictions cover both directions of the road and will apply to vehicles and pedestrians.
There will also be restrictions on parking, waiting, and loading or unloading at any time while the emergency helicopter is landing and taking off.
The council says the closures are to ensure public safety.
A temporary traffic regulation order is intended, and more information can be found at the One Network website.
The closures are expected to be intermittent and will only occur while the emergency helicopter is landing and taking off.
Restrictions may be in effect under this order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the secretary of state.
