Even then “no attempt to play the ball” isnt really a reason. Atleti made several fouls where there was “no attempt to play the ball” and they were just trying to stop us from countering.

Where were their reds? On one occasion this pos ref even refused to give a yellow for it as the rules dictate because it would have meant a red…

  2. No attempt to play the Ball is also a yellow, for example pulling a player’s jersey to stop a counter attack, unless the tackle is extremely hard.

It was a bullshit red and the ref should be glad it didnt impact the score.

Guys anyone who is a madridista knows what happened there, and it’s fine, Baena deserved it lol I’m with the capi on this one

It’s from behind and in front of a ref who gives out red cards like they’re going out of style. Bone headed play from Fede…

  5. Watching the game there was definitely escalation before this call. Should’ve been a yellow if it’s a stand alone incident and undeserving red but I can see why this ref gave the red w escalating incidents + challenge from behind. Still this ref can f right off though and I hope we win the appeal.

  6. Was there intent to play the ball? We can clearly see there is. Yellow card. Move on. They need to appeal this

Idgaf if the ball was ten miles away, the challenge was still never a red. Fucking joke of a league
