Arsenal played only 19 progressive passes.

City played 181 progressive passes in the tournament, 41 of them in the final alone — that’s more than double Arsenal.

A progressive pass is a forward pass in the middle or final third that moves the ball at least 25% closer to the opponent’s goal.

City did more than double what Arsenal did… can you even imagine that number?!

One team went there to win, the other team went there hoping for penalties or trying to snatch a goal from a corner or a throw-in.

And then someone comes and says, “We lost because Kepa was starting and raya was on the bench” 😔

  1. That’s impressive, that’s a tactical masterclass of the highest order, and embarrassing for them, they were going on about how this team is generational and all

  2. I know some people won’t care about this, but this is genuinely insane. From a neutral standpoint, this is impressive. Congrats to the staff and the players, fully deserved.
