I don’t think he shot it well. This is the classic style of penalty that gets missed in world cups. He shot it mid height and middle way between the center and the post. If the goalkeeper dives the correct way he saves that 100%. Especially because Vini wasn’t looking at the keeper. He either has to place his shots better, closer to the post or higher closer to the crossbar, or adjust it based on the direction the keeper dives.
Tldr: He has missed this exact style of penalties many times in the past, Everytime the keeper dives the right way

Actually this is a bad penalty objectively speaking. If the keeper would have guessed the corner he would have save it.
The height was kind of bad as it was not very high nor at the ground level. Yeah, it had power but that’s it.
