The 61-year-old had been out of work since leaving his role at Monterey Bay in 2024, where he had been sporting director and head coach.

Yallop has spent his entire coaching career in North America, having managed San Jose Earthquakes (twice), LA Galaxy, Chicago Fire, Phoenix Rising, Fresno FC (general manager) and Las Vegas Lights.

He now links up the Texas-based side, who were only founded in August 2024.

They are set to play their second ever USL League Two campaign, having finished fifth in the Mid South Division in 2025.

The Canadian made 385 appearances for the Blues, scoring eight goals during his spell at Portman Road.

Yallop played a pivotal role in Gamechanger 20’s takeover at Town in 2021, having worked with with the Three Lions, Brett Johnson, Berke Bakay and Mark Detmer.
