Her performances, both on records and live, stress the value of companionship, reinforcing the idea that spending time with her music is always worthwhile.

Seamus Fogerty will be the support act for the performance.

Kate, who also loves the banjo and pinhole cameras, currently resides in Paris.

The concert at the theatre in Lighthouse, Poole, starts at 7.45pm and promises an evening mixing reflection on the past with a focus on the present, even as the future looms with uncertainty.

Besides making music, her growth and the survival of her music in these trying times are described as a “heroic act.”

Not only does her music continue to thrive, but it also plays a part in making people’s lives just a bit brighter.
