  1. be 100% honest.. if you saw a team with Sarr and Gray in the middle of park, with Tel, Solanke and Richy as forward line you would think a reasonable championship side.. maybe play-offs

  2. i see this as another way…

the players gave their all last season and succeeded in winning a major trophy, they felt like they built something togetger, and growing. We all felt it.

Then the management sacked the manager the players were behind, sold the captain that everyone played their hearts for, sold a player everyone loved like Johnson away. Adding that to what Romero had said about the management a few times, you can kind of feel that there is a riff going on between the players and the owners/management.

Now with the WC coming up, would the players feel like putting their bodies on the line for this kind of management? Why would they risk their WC chances to bail out the owners they dont feel like?

Play for the fans? But the fans also dont understand management. Whats there to motivate the players? Bail out the owners from bankruptcy this one time to see them pull off shits again next season? These players are not old school like before.

  3. he tries, yes. He has promise, yes, but he would’nt get near any other top 10 PL side. it’s sheer copium to think otherwise. Our standards are tuly on the floor.

Luckily we haven’t had any managers in the last couple of years who were happy to sack off the league campaign for half a season…
