Ms Revell said: “We want the shop to be a place where people feel comfortable coming in for advice, whether they are new to the sport or have been playing for years.
“It’s about offering a personal service and helping people find the right equipment for their game.”
The shop stocks a wide range of equipment and apparel from leading brands such as HEAD, Babolat, Wilson, Dunlop, Tecnifibre, and Karakal.
Players of all ages and abilities are catered for, with beginner through to advanced-level equipment available.
In addition to retail, the store offers a professional racket stringing and customisation service, carried out in-store by head stringer Keith Frost.
To celebrate the opening, Quay Rackets will host a Spring Sale this Saturday, with discounts on last-generation tennis rackets from top brands including HEAD, Wilson, Babolat, and Yonex.
Reduced prices will also be offered on select shoes and clothing, with performance rackets starting from £50.
Ms Revell said many customers already rely on the shop’s bespoke services.
She said: “Customer service is at the heart of what we do, and we pride ourselves on offering honest advice, great value and a reliable service.
“We’re able to offer same-day restringing, we carry a fully stocked range of adult and junior rackets, and we also provide teamwear for clubs in partnership with local business Quay Embroidery.
“We’re committed to offering fair pricing, with discounts for club players and loyalty rewards for our regular customers.”
