I am unfamiliar with how Cubarsi plays but based on the last two years of playing under Flick what Barca needs is a general sort- someone who organizes the defense, anticipates the offense to prevent clear scoring opportunities.
A veteran player may not be a bad idea to support Cubarsi’s growth and allow Martin and Garcia regular appearances in the first team long-term.
So if someone fits that profile, then probably that might better fit.
