Be happy with 2 draws for motherwell in the next two.

This match was very much “top 6 SPFL but not in the title race” quality from start to finish. A point is a point I suppose. McGrath’s late tackle on Just is a yellow to me but I’m sure a Hibs fan would argue something else should have been a foul/yellow. A draw is a reasonable outcome given those performances. Even xG was about the same.
I still have hopes for European qualification, but against the other top 5, I wonder if we’re relying too much on Elijah Just’s brilliance for creativity.

Well that was a bunch of nothing. VAR strikes again. Still I guess ok. Helps us run Hibs out of rocks for fourth.

That was a pretty painful watch, some of the decision making in the middle of the park and final third was really poor compared to normal, outside of Welsh and McGinn probably our worst home performance of the season.
As the season goes on it’s becoming clearer and clearer Maswanhise isn’t a striker, he’s obviously a great goalscorer but he can get bullied totally out of games trying to go through the middle and Bjørgolfsson must be wondering what he’s got to do to get more than 10-20 minutes off the bench in close games, think we’d get a lot more from both players if we started Bjørgolfsson through the middle and put Maswanhise deeper and wider where he’d get more of the ball.
Has to be discussions taking place about Gray’s future. Appreciate what he’s done but he’s not good enough tactically. Too cautious yet again in a must win game for us. Don’t really understand the strikers getting stick either when they are constantly feeding off scraps due to how we play. Beyond bored of this shite.

I think today was the fullest I’ve ever seen the home stands at Fir Park today. Hopefully the game didnt put off people from coming again next week

Hibs’ plan to bore the rest of the Premiership into submission is coming along very nicely, aye, very nicely indeed.
