Time to open that bottle of Polish guttercleaner vodka I’ve been saving for just such an occasion

  2. At this rate Everton will finish above us and if we are lucky maybe we get conference league

We are a team set up for Europe, I don’t think this manager is good enough for the premier league tbh

  4. That plus playing in the Conference League will be a double whammy on us. It’ll be bad enough to not have a proper preseason, thanks to the World Cup, but then we’ll also be hit with Thursday-night football. The new manager will have his hands full (and less money and pull to work with without CL).

  5. We’ve still got to play Everton and Utd away. With the lack of passion and physicality we play with, we’re going to get bullied in both games and lose 2+ goals. I can take shite performances against other teams, I cannot take shite performances against our two historic rivals.

Why is top 4 battle always like this? Basically least worst gets it. Everyone plays like they dont want it

Look at what Di Matteo did with Chelsea in a couple months, new manager bounce with Gerrard could be beneficial for us.

But I don’t think there will be change until the summer.

  8. Its getting harder and harder to look at our upcoming games and see where the next win comes in our current state

Look on the bright side, they’ve kept us in the CL places, and we have the international break coming up, so get to live in a Liverpool free bubble for a bit

  10. Last season week 31 Chelsea had 53 points at 5th, and Newcastle had 56 at 4th. We’ve very lucky we would be 7th last season

  11. At this rate, both Brentford and Eveton will finish above us, and we would not even have European football to worry about next season.

  12. We are not beating either of them 😭 sad to see how bad we are but that high up the table is madness

  13. What’s the lowest points total to ever qualify for champions league (without FA cup or other ways of qualifying)?

  14. Somehow it’s not over yet. This 5th UCL league spot combined with everyone shitting the bed makes it painfully tasty if we didn’t have the most difficult run-in left.

Aston Villa’s league form is LLLDW. They’re out of the FA Cup but still in the UEL.

Chelsea’s league form is LLWLD. They’re in the FA Cup but out of the UCL.

Our league form is LDLWW. We are in both quarter finals.

  15. At this point, it’s no longer Slot’s fault. He’s been poor and everyone have seen it since late last year , carrying over from the previous season.

It is now Hughes and whoever else is in charge, who didn’t dare to make a call in Jan/Feb to replace him.

Sure, we are a patient lot but there was no proper style of play, near zero cohesion, basically nothing for anyone to say, “ok, we can see what he is doing”. Not even that.
