The Hornets currently sit five points off the play-off positions as they aim for back-to-back wins that could put them right back into the thick of the race for the top six.

Still knows that looking too far ahead is a dangerous game, though, and is only focusing on the best way to beat Gary Rowett’s side at Vicarage Road.

He said: “What’s needed is to win against Leicester, that was our intent against Wrexham and we managed to do it really well.

“We’ll see where we’re at in the evening after the game, but before that there’s no form of calculation. There’s too much respect for Leicester City as a team and for Gary Rowett, such an experienced manager who knows how to set teams up and get the best out of his players.

“We’ve got far too much respect to be counting or anything like that.

“We’re going to go full on, all in, and try and do a repeat of Wrexham. There are a few key points we want to improve as well.”

Leicester have won just one of their last 12 matches and sit second-bottom of the Championship having been deduced six points earlier in the campaign.

Still revealed he has prepared his side to deal with a couple of different approaches from the Foxes but also expects to have to adapt quickly during the game.

He said: “The analysts have been really good and I’ve watched as many games as possible to prepare the game.

“We’re prepared for different scenarios, if they do come at us more aggressively or if they do sit off us. We’re ready for both.

“It’s just for us to have that flexibility and to be able to adapt quickly in the game, to impose ourselves on the game. What we want, what our intentions are, and to be able to dictate from there.

“If we do that then we’ll be in a good place.”
