Also something few of us are talking about: he could also replace Mainoo, not just partner him. Being 20 he’s young and can develop with less pressure, don’t to play every minute (specially with more competitions).
Bruno G with another 6/8 hybrid partner like Baleba would make a sensational midfield.

I am getting a bit sick of people dismissing players who are older than 22 or 23.
As well as the sort of players who will grow into superstars and last 7 or 8 years we also need experience and ready made quality. We don't want to be buying "Names" who are past their prime, but players who are in their prime are worth a 4 year contract if they tick the right boxes.
We don;t have anyone to step in with Casemiro's level of game experience, and buying the likes of Wharton, Baleba or even Anderson doesn't provide that.
We need probably three Midfield signings and should be looking at one of the player profiles I just mentioned, but also someone with Guimaraes' profile and probably a younger strong prospect who won't cost as much but will be a reasonable gamble.
While I would love to grab Tonali AND Guimaraes, there's Bob Hope of that happening, so I'd be happy with Guimaraes, Baleba, and AN Other who is hopefully someone the recruitment team pull out of thin air like they did with Dorgu/Lammens.
I'm not going to get angry and upset if the specific names aren't the ones I want, (because I'm not basing my thoughts on EA Sports' Stat Cards) but I'd be happy to see the same sort of profile of player.

That ain't happening. He'll be 29 this year. He'll want around £200k in wages and I heard they want about £60-70m.

Wasn't Casemiro 29 when he came to United? Similar price too. Ratcliffe name checked Casemiro in why the policy needed changing!

Bruno G + Matty Fernandes are the two midfielders I want. Seems like both will be a bit cheaper than expected. Then Baleba as a LB/CDM (the Cama profile you talked about in your last video, just think Baleba is much likelier), a RB like Palestra, and a touchline LW (doesn’t necessarily need to be a massive signing, I really like Diao and Godts as cheaper options) and we are legitimate title contenders. Integrate Vitek, Amass, Lacey, and a few other youth players into the squad as depth. 5 signings, feels very doable.
I think Tonali is a better fit (especially if we keep Carrick long term) because he offers more from a defensive standpoint that Guimaraes. Also i have serious doubts about the fit with mainoo and guimares.
Imagine if we sign bruno G and M fernandes, then we will have 2 brunos and 2 fernandes 😂😂 jokes aside it will be a dream window if we get both and joao gomez/camavinga

joao gomes is a similar player, hes younger and cheaper, wolves are going down as well so he'd definitely come i think hes also a great option
Only two concerns are having two Brunos to sort out in comments and INEOS’s stated intentions to not hire people over the age of 25. I think Guimaraes would be absolutely brilliant. Incredible addition to our midfield, and is one of the very few players out there that would actually come in and be a real replacement/upgrade on Casemiro.

No, hell no, we cannot be paying 100M for a 29 year old, ee need a midfielder for the next 6 years, not for a couple of seasons like Casemiro. We should go for Tonali, Baleba and Mateus Fernandes, we have to be smart and plan for the future.

Paying 70-80 m for a 28 year old soon to be 29 makes absolutely no sense plus he recently had an hamstring injury. Tonali would be a great option for us. If guimares was in his last year of contract and we had a chance of getting him for 30-40 m then it would make sense. Let's not compare him with Bruno kind of a player.
Bruno G might not happen cos of his age, 28, which goes against the INOES brand of young players and his contract that ends in 2028. But anything is possible.

If we have £200 million we should spend it on the tonali and Bruno G I think we can’t afford not to spend on this area. If you look at Arsenal, city, Liverpool and even Chelsea they have world class midfielders not one but atleast 2. I like Mainoo but he wouldn’t start for any of those teams mentioned.
