Bruno Fernandes has now sent a powerful verdict about Manchester United’s recent run of form under Michael Carrick after the Bournemouth result on Friday.
The 31-year-old Manchester United captain had his name on the scoresheet after Bruno Fernandes broke the deadlock from the spot-kick in the second half.
Despite Man Utd holding a 1-0 lead over Bournemouth thanks to Fernandes, the Red Devils would ultimately walk away with a single Premier League point on the night.
The Red Devils would be reduced to 10 men after Harry Maguire was sent off and Bournemouth sealed a 2-2 draw against Man Utd at the Vitality Stadium.

Manchester United have won seven of their 10 Premier League matches under Michael Carrick since the Red Devils legend was appointed interim head coach.
The Red Devils had sealed a huge 3-1 win over top-four rivals Aston Villa last Sunday at Old Trafford before dropping points to Bournemouth on Friday.
Carrick has only experienced one Premier League defeat as interim Red Devils head coach since Ruben Amorim was sacked as Man Utd manager in January.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Bruno Fernandes insisted that the Bournemouth match was a blip and it was the type of encounter where the Red Devils had to “suffer.”
“That’s always been part of the club,” he said, as per BBC Sport.
“It doesn’t change with the manager in charge. Last week, [we were] positive with the result and that gives positive energy to the team to understand we can go anywhere and get results.
“We’ve been in very good form under Michael [Carrick] and today we had to suffer and we did get a point – we got something from it.”

Aston Villa are four points behind third-place Man Utd and Unai Emery’s men could slash the Red Devils’ lead over them if they beat West Ham at Villa Park on Sunday.
Liverpool are six points behind United and Chelsea are seven points behind the Red Devils amid the Premier League top-four challenge by Michael Carrick’s men.
Fernandes has claimed that United must continue to push forward and not look back on their missed opportunity to secure more points against Bournemouth on Friday.
“What could be better is that we get three points in the next game, which we couldn’t get today,” he said.
“[The] Premier League is very tough and we have lots of competition. Aston Villa are close to us and Liverpool and Chelsea, too.
“Our aim is to move forward by keep getting points. We have to get away from them and the best way to do that is to keep getting points.
“If you want to get closer to the one in front of you, you still have to get the three points.”
Man United will not return to Premier League action until after the March international break, with the Red Devils hosting Leeds United on 13th April.
