The consistency is non existent, minute to minute, not even between games.

We as fans will never get to know why exactly its become so poor, the clubs probably not either. If its because referees are second guessing everything in the moment because of VAR then bin it entirely. I know people will say “everyone complained before VAR and now they complain after VAR, cant make everyone happy” but if SO many decisions are being tainted by VAR just existing, even on calls which aren’t being VAR checked, then it has to go.

  2. He had his money on a draw for both games.

More seriously, these refs just officiate on feelings rather than consistency and the laws of the game. Disgraceful inconsistency that influences results.

Shouldn’t be near our games again. He either has a clear bias whether subconscious or not. Or he is not good enough in his job as a referee. Either way club need to grow a pair and speak out

  4. Should be reffing his next game in the championship. Blatantly inconsistent refereeing tonight.

  5. > The Premier League’s Key Match Incidents (KMI) panel ruled that
Lisandro Martinez’s goal for Manchester United against Burnley (which ended 2-2) was incorrectly disallowed by referee Stuart Attwell

  6. I think this is a good time for the Club and Carrick to show if they are serious people. SAF would have never let that corrupt person ref a united game again

  7. PGMOL already admitted he missed a penalty call 3 days ago for Leeds. I don’t see why he was not pulled from this.

Except that “clear and obvious” is purposely left loose so it can be a subjective vehicle to create storylines, drama, and fuel the headlines while lining the gambling sponsors’ pockets.
