We need some veteran leadership at the club. Not to play a substantial role on the pitch. More as a mentor to guide these young kids for the tough patches. That’s the main reason I didn’t want Modric to go.
It’s insane how fast your life can change. Carva went from being the best RB in the world to a shell of his former self because of one unfortunate injury, just when he was in the form of his life. I wish it didn’t end like this but that’s how the cookie crumbles. Hopefully the boys can take some silverware home so he can leave on a high note.

I’d like to see Dani and rudiger stay as backups one more year. I think we still need some veteran voices on the team. We need to sign a star CB to pair with huijsen. Huijsen and signing as starters and rudiger and asencio as backups with an academy youngster as a 5th option .
There is so little talent at RB in the world unless we find a talented youngster to deputize Trent I’d rather have Carvajal backing him up
