      This is great news, specifically as it allows us to invest in another CM with stability in the back middle.

      Great news on both counts. Even though it’s entirely possible neither of them will be first choice starters next season, we can’t afford to be losing either of them when we need to spend £200m or so on midfielders alone.

      Great news regarding Kobbie, ideally this is the contract period in which he shows if he’s able to make that next step to really become an elite level player or just a great player. Happy for Maguire to be here for another year and a bit, his experience and leadership seems to be helpful for Yoro.

      It’s a hard one because he’s been such a good servant, but he’s on a lot

      I am fucking ecstatic for Kobbie, I had to deal with so many thick skulled dudes on here about his ability.

      Very deserved for Maguire too, has been massive for us.

      not me acting like i don’t care about contracts but lowkey stalking updates like it’s relationship drama 😭 i swear this is exactly how i was when my ex kept saying “we’ll see what happens” like just sign the deal already lol
