I think Zhegrova is a great sub for Conceicao but Chico is just playing better.
Miretti subbed on for Chico the last two games, but Zhegrova has also been playing well, so my guess is that it is a strategic choice and Spaletti is experimenting with a more central winger.
Both Conceicao and Zhegrova excel with their backs to the sideline and can pull multiple defenders because of their technicality and speed. Subbing one for the other is basically a refresh.
I would say Miretti adds more structure and that might be what Spaletti wants in the final stages of the game. But to be honest I hadn’t paid close attention to Miretti after he had come on so I can’t say for sure.
