  1. In other words, laliga is a dirt poor league that is cause by their unfair monopoly prize distribution to the top 2 clubs

  2. I mean yeah they kind of have to be smart when clubs like Betis with 6 years of consistent European football can’t afford to break their 28 year old record transfer fee.

  3. I mean there is truth to it. The Premier League is flush with tons of money to throw around. Other teams know that and so charge a Premier League premium.

Just look at what strikers are going for these days. Largely untested, with ok scoring records, are in the £70m-80m range.

I feel like he’s just trying to justify his poor decision making and his inability to bring in revenue to laliga. I have literally seen this dude speak more on premier league and teams from pl than addressing the issues his league.

Barcelona nearly bankrupting themselves by spending £100m on a succession of players who never came remotely close to living up to their price tag was far too clever for the premier league to possibly grasp.

Yes of course you are. Thats because you either throw millions at the transfer, or tap them up and run their contract down.

Or rinse the south American leagues for the next big thing.

La Liga is boom or bust
