I mean there is truth to it. The Premier League is flush with tons of money to throw around. Other teams know that and so charge a Premier League premium.
Just look at what strikers are going for these days. Largely untested, with ok scoring records, are in the £70m-80m range.

I feel like he’s just trying to justify his poor decision making and his inability to bring in revenue to laliga. I have literally seen this dude speak more on premier league and teams from pl than addressing the issues his league.
