Jokes aside I’m happy for him, he can finally show what he’s capable of and won’t have his confidence getting shot by playing out of position all the time and understandably struggling. He’ll be huge for us next year, if we can keep him.

I really do believe the signing of youth will pay off eventually once the players mature as we are seeing with Gray. I just wish we had signed some experienced players to play with them and develop them.

I think his praise over the last few weeks and months has been massively overblown. And I’ve never truly been impressed with him. A true steady footballer who will always likely give you are least 6/10
But tonight, he was exceptional. Quite clearly his best ever game for us and his best in midfield. If that was the sign of things to come on a consistent level then yes, we have quite the player on our hands.

I cannot believe how good his performance in that game was. I would have been content with him getting the basics right but he was doing some exceptional things I had no idea he was capable of. Too many to list but I’m sure there will be a highlight reel soon.

I have been somewhat undecided on Archie, but seeing him where he should be played, has shown me how stupid I am, he gave dembele vibes, I think as he fully develops physically, we will have a harden stalwart in our team

I’m impressed the most by his reading of the game. At such a young age it’s instinctual that in his proper position in midfield he seems to be everywhere.
