Yeah, sure his form has been nowhere near his best for this back half of the season. However, the insane amount of slander this man has from our OWN fans this season is actually insane. Have we forgotten who brought us to this position in the first place, who the best striker in the world is? The guy is out of form and still leads the league in goals, also 8 goals in 10 during our ucl campaign. If we are to succeed as a team, we can use constructive criticism, but the insane slander Haaland receives has to stop.

Fickle fans arnt real fans at all. Some of us have supported us through much much fucking worse. He’ll find his form again and they’ll be back on his norweigan nutsack.
Everyone just went crazy on everyone “Pep out” “Bernardo out” “Dias out” “Savinho out” “Marmoush out” “Bench Haaland” “Bench Foden” like fucking hell people, stop being so reactionary
He’s a striker, all strikers go through goal droughts that’s nothing new, this is just one of them.
i dont think its his fault at all , yeah the form is not there anymore but look at how we play in def and in the middle , we have 0 chance creation from the middle when cherki is not playing , and also pep’s style of play lately has been all about pass pass pass sideways bckwds no dangerous passes through the middle at all , when he had kdb who did not give a fuck about pep’s sideway passes he would unlock haaland , but now we have nobody to do that
couldn’t be me love the guy, he scored yesterday & was busy & you still have some people slating him
Can’t agree more. Dude is still top scorer in the PL, loads of assists, works his arse off, got us countless throphies, and the entitled pricks still complain. Those of us who followed city for years when we were bottom tier team, wioo never take the moments of glory for granted so I do find it disheartening when our own fan base turns against haaland or pep even though we’re currently 2nd in the PL, still in two cups. It’s just insane.
People are just too reactionary sometimes. The amount of comments I see assuming he’s going to leave is astounding.
He’ll be back to his regular robot form.
He’s not the best striker in the world
This isn’t just being reactionary or a rough patch he’s not been at his best this season and the last. Nowhere as critical as he was in his first season, imo it’s the high standard he has set for himself. The service has been poor for sure but for the balls that land right at his feet, he has to score no matter what given his role.
I don’t agree with him bringing us to where we are now though. We won a lot of trophies before he was here and will win even more once he’s gone. Still a great player and a city legend in the making for sure.
I think he played pretty decent yesterday
He will be back bro.
Best striker in the world is Kane by the way
Who cares what the foreign plastics think?
Anyone who slates Haaland has the football knowledge of a garden gnome.
His movement every game is phenomenal, he’s constantly making runs behind, but nobody is finding him.
He’s not good enough.
A lot of the criticism is fair, but ultimately he’s got a specialized skill set and right now the team isn’t utilizing it in the optimal way. Besides being a deadly striker I’m surprised with his defensive role at cornes or how he occupies defenders freeing up space for others… Right now however he looks depleted and missing the few chances he usually finishes. This warrants criticism since his role is to score.
However I’d put most of the blame on the slow methodical build up that nullifies his MO running in behind.
I’d be so happy if Pep could just let go and start with a major rejuvenation of his philosophy with fast counters/direct football combined with controll in other phases. It starting to look like the last few seasons of Wenger with U-shape probing.
Edit: yes I know there was a spell earlier in the season where the team was faster but maybe the return of Rodri meant going back to the old glory days again..
Those fans have not a bit of shame, yes he has been out of form lately but it’s not entirely on him the whole team has been shit
The fans may run him out of town eventually.
A lot of online fans are complete morons. The amount of people doubting Pep too is insane.
We are the biggest Haaland fans and we also will criticise him if he is playing poorly. That’s us supporters mate. If Haaland has a shite game or two it’s okay but three four five in a row without a single goal ofc we’re gonna empty our hearts mate.
Tbh its the nature of the sport.
An unstable sport produces unstable fans, and idk why people constantly act surprised when football fans are fickle, when thats kinda the whole point. Youve watch this team outplay opponents and still get their european hopes crushed in mere seconds multiple times. That leads to reactionary fans, its just natural. If you dont like that then go watch a more stable sport like cricket or baseball.
I havent seen any Haaland disrespect, ive only seen people rightfully commenting on his trend of poor form in the second half of seasons, and people on their high horse whining about it
