  1. Fairly obvious the players were never going to listen to him. I don’t know why the owners insist on appointing managers that players won’t respect.

Compound that, with the fact the Manager then needs the players on side, so he cannot be too critical and needs to rotate them all to keep them on side.

He’ll do well to see out the season from here.

  2. You could employ prime Jose, you’re not winning shit with the CBs we have at the club. (outside of Levi but obviously out for the season)

  3. He better be gone by the summer so we can bring in one of the so many good coaches that’ll be available post WC

Heres a crazy idea. Get a real quality manager, back him with real players and not teenagers/”ohh maybe we can flip for profit” players.

    Its not rocket science.

  5. You could tell from the kickoff that most players were checked out mentally.

Maybe except Neto and Hato nobody gave a shit.

Not surprised they weren’t listening to Rosenior. He lost the dressing room after the Jorgensen fuck up.

  6. When a manger loses the dressing room it’s over

Sack him no need to drag out the inevitable

  7. Well to be fair, the goal took the confidence and motivation out of them. What do you expect? If this tie had been 3-2 at least, we had something to fight for, but when you’re already 3 down going into the second leg, what do you do.

As much as i didn’t like how mersca played. We weren’t soft under him. Now it’s sooo easy to beat chelsea we are becoming the new old Arsenal and it’s breaking my heart I can’t watch anymore it’s just to sad

When he says “went through”, does that mean Rosenior didn’t say give any tactics to deal with Dembele?

The problem with clownlake they don’t seem to learn from their mistakes. Potter is a mistake, they tripled down and brought Rosenior, luckily they stumbled upon Maresca who is better than these two. But still screwed Maresca up by not backing him. Not that Maresca is a genius, but still a better coach than Liam considering the situation. At this rate they may go for another championship manager I know a guy who is guiding coventry to Top flight and may be a better fit.

TBH, I’m happy that there was no instruction – cause imagine if this was the result after instructions being followed.

Don’t wanna sound overly dramatic, but is this the quickest a Chelsea manager has lost the dressing room?

  13. This would have been a brilliant game to demonstrate Maresca big game prowess
Always seemed to pull something out against the big teams no matter what the form of the team

Not saying we would have necessarily gon through but could have at least given psg a good scare

I don’t really believe this for a second tbh. We lost the game fair enough but you don’t have 15 shots and have their keeper make 8 saves if there’s no level of tactics. Think we can all agree they have a better squad and the gulf in player quality has helped win them the tie. Delap misses a chance they go up the pitch one minute later and score a worldie same as the first leg with Palmer.
