I think we’re overlooking this game as a fanbase.
– It’s a UCL knockout game against a big team most of us have never seen Tottenham play before.
– This could be the last Champions League night we have for years and years.
– Progressing would not only be incredible on the night and a historic achievement, but the boost it would give our players for the rest of the season would be phenomenal.
For those arguing they want to ‘focus on the league’, I struggle to see how losing tonight would benefit us. We’re fucking useless whether we have 2 games a week or 2 games a month. The confidence boost and break from domestic football would do us more good than having two less games.
Let’s get up for it and enjoy it. I bought South Stand tickets for about £50 two days ago, so there might still be some available. COYS!
