  1. I don’t think Enzo is that special but he has been clutch. He’s easily replaceable by a competent board (which by now it’s painfully clear that we don’t have that) imo especially if the 10 role is his future but it’s just embarrassing that one of the faces of this club, a guy they went through such hassle to sign already is weighing up options coz he knows he’s been sold a dream.

  2. Don’t blame him. We’ve got a bunch of clowns running the club who don’t have a clue.

  3. How would this transfer even work? Would have to be a massive bid, who’s gonna be able to pay that for him?

  4. doesnt sound too optimistic, seeing the mess we created about time the players think for themselves

If you think our board is going to upgrade or get someone close to his level you’ve got another thing coming…

Has he not been told by the board about how great a job they’ve been doing recruitment wise?

  7. I can’t blame him if he leaves. he played for the badge since day one and his love for the club seeped through no matter if he had a good or bad game

people have their opinions but I truly wish him all the best

He’s the one that actually will hurt me the most- he’s young, he’s clutch, and he fucking gives it his all every match.

I don’t care how unpopular it sounds, but I’d sell Palmer over Enzo every day.

He’s won the World Cup. He’s been our captain. He takes responsibility. He’s the type of player you want on this team. Reece seems to love him as well.

I know he’s gone because he HAS TO be gone to comply financially and he can likely fetch us 100m or close to it.

But it’s going to really suck to see him kick ass at another club.

Fair play to him for having some ambition. He realised he came to the wrong place. Sad times

  10. When (If) he leaves, this project should literally be scraped then because he was the profile they wanted to build around in midfield and failed him.

Expecting this from a lot of other players on the team soon.

Thanks for your services Enzo. You tried in each game wirh all your effort. But you were sold the wrong dream about being part of an elite club that is looking to win trophies. Chelsea is now a club that picks trash in the name of potential, and sells them on 3 years.

Aint no way Estevao is also sticking around wasting his potential and golden years on this garbage dump. Man has a suitor of serious clubs who would love to sign him.

  12. He will force his way out of the club, people denied it when the rumours kept popping up but here he basically confirms it.

Why would players want to stay here anyway

  13. Knowing this board we will just replace him with Barco and sign another 17 year old who’s joining in 2030.

  14. This will be the point when the project really takes a nosedive. When the better players lose belief that Chelsea is a place you can compete for the biggest titles.

  15. He goes, he goes. No player is bigger than the club.
Yes, the club is on decline, but we still fighting for things.
    Things could be way worse.
It is what it is at the end of the day. Players have to think about themselves and clubs too.
Just hope Chelsea lets him leave if his heart aint here. No point in going through with him how it was at Benfica. Get top talent and rebuild.

Coming from Roman Era, a bit sad lol.

Absolute fuck up by the board. Their strategy of paying less wages to each player makes the top players want to leave, unless you’re Reece. And despite this strategy, we’ve got the 4th highest wage bill. Too many dead weights pulling down the top performers. This is absolutely opposite of how any good organisation should be run, football or not.

On the plus side, the ownership is so retarded this takeover can be made into a Hollywood comedy, maybe we’ll get some revenue there.

  17. it’s simple.

Finishing outside of champions league places, he and other guys are gone

long term contracts don’t mean shit if the player doesn’t want to be here and chelsea may not want to sell but it will end up like Raheem Sterling.
After the World Cup and no champions league and not being sold? you will see phantom injuries and destroyed market value

Unsurprising, players dont want to be with clubs that make zero progress and switch managers every year. Enzo is the beginning but it’s Reece that would be the nail in the coffin, for me anyway

Enzo is a poor player, the only time we played decent midfield football was under poch when he was injured and we had gallagher and caicedo in the 2.

Caicedo looks a million miles better playing the Enzo role than Enzo so maybe get a player who can play as a mid and give caicedo more freedom. With Enzo in the team our midfield will always lack.
