Nottingham Forest were left to rue more missed opportunities as Fulham nabbed a point at the City Ground after Dan Ndoye saw a goal disallowed.

Ndoye came on at half-time and, within minutes, started to drive at the opposition in a way that Callum Hudson-Odoi and Nicolas Dominguez had struggled to do so in the opening 45 minutes.

Who was your Man of the Match vs Fulham?

The Swiss performer was a constant threat to the Fulham back line and might have been awarded a penalty early in the second half, were it not for an offside flag that went up in the build-up.

Now, in the aftermath, pundits have been discussing the incidents in the match, and Ndoye has received special praise from Micah Richards.

The Swiss star has been inconsistent this season at Forest, and after initially impressing Sean Dyche, he was soon replaced by Omari Hutchinson in the team.

Against Fulham, both players did well during their time on the pitch in the second half, and Richards used his summary of the game to praise Ndoye.

He said on Match of the Day 2: “They were very unlucky today. Ndoye comes on, and he was a handful, you know. This one here is absolutely ridiculous. It’s so tight.

“The run, really good. Can he finish it? He finishes it, and then it comes to this. It’s just remarkable. It’s so bad, but rules are rules.”

“He’s so unlucky with the potential penalty call as well, and there was just so much going on, but nothing went Forest’s way.”

Ndoye has to start vs Tottenham

Perhaps now the time has come for Ndoye to get a run of games and with Hudson-Odoi and Hutchinson somewhat out of sorts lately, there is no time to waste.

Ndoye ran at the Fulham defenders from the minute the second half whistle went, and that got the Forest fans out of their seats and rooting for the team.

The winger played like a player who is fed up with sitting on the bench, and Vitor Pereira now has some food for thought when it comes to his team selections against Midtjylland and Tottenham this week.

Ndoye deserves to play and with Forest struggling to score goals at the moment, the onus is now on the head coach to start mixing things up a little bit in the coming weeks.
