Raphinha needs to play as a 9 with Rashford as LW. Lewandowski simply does not have the athleticism as was apparent in the first game.

Unlikely to happen but Cancelo should be at RB to help Lamine attack. Put Maldini at LB and Eric-Cuba CBs. I feel like it’s better this way

I honestly think this is the lineup we are going to see. Maybe there will be Fermin instead od Olmo.
I’d also consider using “false” 9 but it seems Hansi won’t this season. So, probably our best eleven to start.

Not sure if Eric will be 100 %. So maybe Xavi Espart starts. I think Fermin will start and Olmo comes off the bench looking at the lineup over the weekend. Ferran also looks likelier to start over Lewa

That is exactly what the lineup is going to be. But Pedri cannot play 90 minutes, so Fermín will take his place, not Olmo’s.

Lewandowski or Ferran Torres… I just can’t decide who’s shittier right now. Lewy is old and has the turning radius of a freight train, but he is definitely more dependable in front of goal than Ferran, who can move quite well and make decent run but whose erraticism and complete lack of consistency makes him anything but trustworthy as our starting striker.

I’ll take Espart on the right. The rest looks great. If Lewandowski continues to play like he did against Sevilla, I’m more than fine with him starting. Dropping deeper and opening spaces for Rapha, Olmo, and even Bernal.

I know you guys won’t like it but, Ronald wasn’t bad during the 1st leg.
I don’t mind him starting, and I believe that even if Garcia is there, he won’t play 90 mins.
I think it’s the best team on paper tho due to Eric offensive contribution.
