  1. Charlie Telfer – you might look at his career and say him leaving was no bad thing, but he 100% should have seen more games in the lower leagues.

    Brought in Nicky Law and Arnold Peralta to play central midfield in the 3rd tier rather than give minutes to an 18 year old academy product. He went on to play 21 games for Dundee United in the top flight the following season, so he would have been more than good enough for that level.

    Paying silly wages to guys like that rather than playing more academy boys was one of the (many) awful decisions we made in those years.
