  1. – Chelsea captain Reece James has sustained another hamstring injury which could keep him out for several weeks.

    – Sources, speaking anonymously to The Athletic to protect relationships, said James was expected to be sidelined for a number of weeks

    – Liam Rosenior, the Chelsea head coach, expected to provide an update when he addresses the media on Monday afternoon.

    – James looked a certainty to be named in Thomas Tuchel’s England squad for the World Cup but will now miss the friendlies later this month against Uruguay and Japan.

    – James is facing a battle to make a full recovery from injury to make an England World Cup squad.

    – James will undoubtedly be upset about potentially not being able to help Chelsea for much of the run-in but he is surely going to have concerns that history could be about to repeat itself with the national team.

Man I hate that happened to him. Great talent and a great guy. I wonder if he needs to try and play at a lower weight or something

  3. Worst part about this is he’s been injury free so long so it was weird seeing people trolling him on social media after he signed a new contract saying he’ll spend half the contract in a medical room. The worst timing ffs

  4. Watching Gusto repeatedly recycle possession and under hitting or over hitting every short pass/cross. End me

  5. “Injury” literally means “in” and “jury.” So we are on trial right now. Let’s hope we get the verdict we want.

Europa league it is. Sounds about garnachos level. We are cooked man, this team can go from showing we can play with anyone to literally shitting the bed on their ow merit in record time. It’s been so painful for the last 3-4 seasons having to deal with this bullshit . Whatever happens, just hope Reece comes back sooner than later

He played 2 lots of 90 minutes in 4 days while Santos didn’t play at all. There was absolutely no reason for it. What the fuck happened to managing his minutes?

Words can’t describe how gutted I feel for him.

    Hope he comes back stronger.

Maresca wasnt overplaying him btw. there was no need for our first sub vs PSG to be around the 80th minute or for him to play 2 full 90s in what, 3 days?

doesnt sound like he was man-aged well.

Linkedin Liam sorry mate, you need to go yesterday
