  1. Incoming jokes about an academy transfer ban being the same as a first team transfer ban because all we do is sign kids

Let’s see what the FA do first before saying we’ve gotten let off lightly.

Thank goodness the new ownership reported this to the FA, can only imagine what would’ve happened had they not been upfront

  3. Good to know the sanctions are realistic.

Not sure how the SD will cope not being able to sign academy players for a while..

Let’s see what the FA conjures up for us.

There needs to be a complete halt on all FA/Premier League fines, punishments and investigations for **all** teams until they have completed the Manchester City case.

Everyone pisses and moans about this ownership- and rightfully so.

But holy shit- the things that the previous owner and hierarchy did are so bad- and everything like this just fuck us so much going forward.

    Just sad.

  6. We could just sign them for the first team and make them play in the academy, no?

There was a video last week of Reece surrounded by academy players. If even one of them gets anywhere near the first team squad that will be regarded as a success. And the academy ban is only for 9 months. £10m in the scheme of things is not very much money at all. Gotten off lightly.

This might actually be doing more good than harm for us. Maybe will sign some rover the age of 18 now. Let’s go FA!!!!

  9. People will bring up Manchester City but the difference is Chelsea self reported and co operated. Man City have denied all charges and have been fighting the investigation tooth and nail, which is why it’s gone all the way to the high court.

Clearlake-Boehly set aside around £150 million to deal with potential Abramovich-related issues, including this matter
