Been saying it since Carrick took over – I think he’s going to stay another year to try and win the PL title.

I’m really hoping with how much he loves the club and how settled his family are here, as well as his form since announcing he’s leaving, that he’ll be willing to compromise on wages to stay.

He still has a place here as a backup. Imagine we have Casemiro to bring on and see out games or chase a goal instead of Ugarte, that’s such an improvement. But we can’t pay him starter money when we’ll be revamping our midfield.

He could easily get the Saudi bag, but he and his family are already set for generations, so I hope he stays and we announce it before our final home game.

  3. Literally was just doing shopping in Manchester. Bars still singing “tutututu Ca se mi ro”

  4. First time since De Gea that the OT crowd has asked for a player to stick around.

OT has never not loved him, he’s absolutely adored and appreciated, even during the dark times. It can be a tough place for high profile, high wages players to justify themselves and that’s never been the case cause people can see what he brings and represents.

I love the man, desperate for him to stay another few years on a reduced wage and be the leader we need moving forward on and off the pitch. I think it could happen as there’s no international tournament coming up and he could go directly back to Brazil/America later.

He’s a class act, a joy to watch.

  5. All I can think of is that Pep meme.

    “We cannot replace him”

Seriously how are we going to replace his goals?

  6. He wants one more year and the champs league at Utd before Saudi and the silly money … FairPlay to the man .. sign him up!!

He couldnt possibly start every game next season but im not sure he wants to accept a squad role hence his leaving.

Im really not sure this is about money but more his role within the team. Although these go hand in hand.

His ability to attack the ball is the best in the team, even better than Maguire. He has fantastic movement and breaks free of his marker with wonderful timing.

He has only been injured once, albeit a long spell, during his stay at United.

As Andy Mitten says… history will remember Casemiro well. Unbelievable achievements who adapted his game late in his career to go from strength to strength.

I really love Casemiro and I’d give him a contact. I doubt both parties could agree on a deal. But I want him to stay. There isn’t a single point in is time here I haven’t thought he is a quality player, and he still is
