The reason Chelsea Women have continued winning is because they were largely left untouched by the owners and SDs. But the signs are starting to show, Paul Green has been removed, and Stewart and Winstanley look set to meddle with an already successful setup.

Great game from LJ to get the first goal (Was lucky though as it came from a mistake) and showed a lot of class in the game. A nice cross from Kaneryd to ABJ sealed the win. And also great great match from Lucy Bronze to block two would have been a goal. And a great save by Hampton to keep the clean sheet at the end as well. Unfortunate for Nathalie Bjorn who just returned from an injury and to pull her calf again after coming on just shortly, hope she recovers well and bounces back. Was a bit of a struggle too, as UTD had a lot of chances that they didn’t fully capitalise on. But at the end of the day, we are the ones who got the trophy!
Hope the ladies keep on performing and we finally get that UWCL that we’ve been eagerly waiting for.
Edit: Duuude, the things I’d pay to see Reiten lift that UWCL trophy with us. Too bad that’s gone now….

We did it despite our issues with depth. Top mentality to grind out the win, with our defence stepping up and players like LJ constantly producing moments of magic.
The women’s team deserves a lot more love and attention from our fanbase. Might bring us some joy during the storm we’re in. Hoping for another trophy or two this season.
