This is the situation that led to Atalanta's equalizer? Was it a push and a foul or just a friendly pat on the back? If this were a goal against your own team what would be your reaction?

  1. I don’t view this call as being that bad. The penalty not even being reviewed is what the joke is.

Dumfries has lost his balance and went down far too easily, we can’t be giving those.

The push wasn’t so much but enough to throw him off his balance. It would have been a simple clearance otherwise.

I’ve seen them being called for a foul so not going to the screen is scandalous.

If the goal is given against your team, you would be furious as well, so before people say otherwise, ask yourself how would you feel if it went against you?

Genuinely do not care. Refs are shit. It’s unfortunately part of the game.

Unless you are a Juventino or Milanista, in which case this is targeted corruption.

  5. It’s a soft foul to stop the play, fell way too easily there but the Scalvini tackle is 100% a penalty according to rules

Good no call, you can’t even “push” someone the way the defender was “standing” with that body position all messed up.

If anyone has ever played football, they know very well that if you are running, a push of this type is enough to make you lose your balance forward. Those who have never played football will say that Dumfries exaggerated the fall.

Bad angle. Dumfries extends his hand too, and clearly dives. If you like football you cannot say this is a foul. If anything, a dive and card for Dumfries. Good on the league for not rewarding diving.

  9. Dumfries is already off balance and this is a soft push at best, ref is well within his rights to let this play continue and VAR shouldn’t overturn it because there’s not a clear/obvious error

Let’s say had it been Inter about to score and the defender of another team going down, it would have been a foul.
    Then what about the penalty???

  11. Im glad this isnt penalty. Goes down so fucking easy. Im old but back when i played football, we didnt go down so easy.

He was losing his balance, felt a small touch in his back and went to ground hoping for a foul to be card.

That’s literally all that happened lol not a foul just a bad dive

  13. Clear foul. You see a push on the back which causes him to go off balance and then Dumfries legs get caught on the body of the Atalanta player. Dumfries didn’t do anything wrong while the Atalanta player initiated contact. Why should the Atalanta player gain an advantage from that and Dumfries not

If they call this then they might as well call everything. Games will last 5 hours. 30 minute stoppage time. Don’t even look at the other team. Straight to jail.
