i think as barca fans we need to stop being overly sentimental. we sometime overrate our "la masia " players. sometimes i said . balde is not a world class defender. he does not provide anything in the final third. he is fast and thats all we can say about him . we cant say he is an exceptional defender and as an attacking wingback, we cannot say he is great in the final third ,a matter of fact he is poor. .
when you are at that age you are not going to get better in those aspects . what you improve in at this age is in tactics. but the fundamentals is developed at a young age and you are not going to improve much in these aspects. this is why he is not called up to spain . remember that !!!! we need to stop with our sentimental la masia love and get real.

The problem with Barcelona is that they don’t sell players when their stocks are high only when they make countless mistakes in big games then they want to sell, look at Araujo we could’ve bagged 50ms in January only for him to show how unreliable he is in big games.

The thing is i am gonna be real about balde situation . Yes he is young , yes he got the potential . but lets be real balde didnt improve since 2022 . Its been 4 years he is the only player who didnt improve that much . When i see some players like eric garcia or even gerrad martin , they imrpoved a lot but balde is still the same . Balde got the pace but his crossing ability , his passing ability arent that elite and also his defending is kinda concerning ,and i literally think that a cancello or even gerrad martin are better at crossing . Back in 2024 when araujo started to lose his form juve offered a 70 m to take him but all barca fans were like hell no he will gain his form , so barca took the risk and didnt sell him and we all saw what happened now . Personally i will give balde another season max to see if he can get his form back , if not then move on and sell him while he still got some value
