Guys the problem is bit serious as we approach the end of the season and a very crucial moment of the season we all hope for better performances from araujo and ferran because they currently play at most defining position of setup a centre back and a striker respectively. I really don't know what will happen with these guys , someday the management wants to replace them some day they are pampered like babies .

I was recently analysing what we lacked past few years and for last 2 seasons i can see araujo making some serious mistakes . Idk what happened to him at one point in his career he carried vinicius in his pocket like a baby next moment he is throwing himself infront of mbappe to get a red card . And ferran is that guy who is grown ass but still lives with his parents because he doesn't know the f** he wants to do with his life.
Tell me 1 important knockout game where ferran lead the way for us thats not what you expect from someone who is playing in the spot which was once embraced by messi villa suarez currently lewa and many legends. Ferran doesn't seems to function like a striker he markets himself like a striker but he is a very decent player as far as we are concerned with technical ability

So what do you guys think what will be happening with the 2, not what you suggest but what your instincts say will happen with them and if we sell them what would they both amount

Ferran will hopefully be the clear backup to whoever we sign (not splitting minutes like he is now) and I think araujo will also stay. I think we will get rid of Lewandowski if we sign a new striker. as for center back I like the idea of signing vuskovic from spurs when his loan is done. I think he would be a great partner for cubarsi and araujo/eric/gerard martin for depth.

we should keep Ferran as super sub and to start in low stakes matches. Araujo needs to go alongside a few others, he’s costed us too many times.

Araujo should be dropped from the squad. His actions speak for themselves. Get him out now.

Ferran and araujo are prob staying as the back ups or just rotation.

We dont know if we will really make solid signings or not.

If we get decent offers we have to get rid of these guys.

  5. I think Ferran will stay. For Araujo I don’t think he’s officially for sale but the club could and probably should consider offers for him especially if a new CB comes in

I can see Araujo leaving, especially because he was very close to Juve last winter.

Ferran is probably going to refuse the transfer even if we decide to sell.

We can’t trust Araujo for big games, I really hope he leaves. I wish him the best, he’s a great guy, but he shouldn’t be playing for us.

Ferrán, I’d keep him as a sub for a main striker, with Lewa gone.

They’ll be on bench i don’t think they’ll be sold immediately , christensen will definitely leave and also Lewandowski if new guys arrive

  9. Yes, because they have a long contract and won’t leave and you can use them as back ups.

Ferran is absolutely staying. Don’t know about Araujo, genuinely think it would be better for both parties if he moves on.

  11. People wanting us to Vuskovic are yet to learn their lesson.

We need an experienced CB who can take command of the back line. Not a pair of 19yrs olds just because they can use their feet. Give me a solid experienced CB like Schlotterback or Bastoni. I am tired of us playing with prospects.

Araujo unfortunately has to go. His time is up and I respect him for sticking with us during our drop off. Ferran should be the backup option, give some competition to our strikers since we have seen time and time that when nobody else is reliable,he will put the shift in. Not a definite starter but a reminder that he can take your place too

  13. Individual_Sport_42 on

Araujo should stay no matter what.
You don’t sell leaders like that.

Ferran depends on the new striker.

I genuinely dont mind keeping ferran. Its just that he has no business being a regular starter. He should be a sub and/or rotation player, hes almost perfect in that role.

I say we sacrifice them to the African shaman real Madrid is dealing with to win the champions league

i think araujo still stays unless a huge offer comes in, because elite cbs are hard to replace and he fits the profile barca usually keeps
his minutes might drop if a new cb arrives, but he’d still be part of the rotation

ferran feels more like the one who could be moved if a new striker comes in, unless he accepts a clear “squad player” role and stays efficient off the bench

  17. Unfortunately Barca have a culture of backing experienced first team players and have a tendency to keep them far longer than they should, whether it be due to age or due to poor performances.

I always wish that this club would be a little more ruthless when it comes to moving on from players.

I’m more than sure that both Araujo and Torres will be here next season

  18. This summer we need many exits to make room for new signings. Araujo and Christensen need to leave. Ferran and Lewandowski need to leave.

Then we need a big signing in the back and a big in the front. 2nd subs can be from la masia.

  19. Apart_Freedom4967 on

They are not mainstays in the squad.
Ferran has the possibility of leaving this summer as he has to decide between renewing or leaving, while knowing Barca dont see him as a starter and will give an according salary.

Araujo has a longer contract and is a club captain. Pretty sure that the club is completely open to making a profit off him and letting go of his salary, but its up to him as they wont/cant push him out.
He will have to decide knowing also that he is not a starter, it will be hard for him to be one and perhaps that playing for Barca has become mentally exhausting for him.

  20. Araujo should clearly have been sold years ago. Torres should also be sold if a dumb PL team with money burning a hole through their pocket comes and offers 55M or more for him. Use that money to sign two CBs like Vuskovic and Senesi on a free and an elite striker like Osimhen + a backup assuming Lewa leaves

  21. MurkyPotato3434 on

Ferran should stay as backup regardless of any future signings. As for Aroujo, he should be sold the moment a reasonable offer is made.
