He looked sharp when he came on actually.
That’s nice listening to the medical team. Imagine if, say a defender got a nasty head injury in an important game. You could do a concussion sub without costing a sub and not let a goal in
You could tell when he came on that he wasn’t fully with it. He didn’t press like he usually does and it looked like he was missing a yard of pace.
Anyone got footage of Joelinton having a go at him after their goal? I never saw it, just read about it.
Gonna tear Barca a new one in the second leg
Did anybody else notice Eddie absolutely lose his shit at Gordon for not pressing after he came on in the second half? I thought it was kind of odd given his illness was well publicised.
I’d love to see Gordon back on the left and Osula central next Wednesday.
I mean, I’m not surprised he didn’t start him. Until he was on the pitch, he looked like Caspar the friendly ghost. Bench was practically glowing with him sat on it.
I will say that I didn’t think he looked as bad once he was on the pitch. But he certainly looked like he was feeling rough sat on the bench.
