      Jesus Christ.

      This fully points towards not having 1) a strategy and 2) not having the right exec team.

      Thelin was binned about 10 games ago. If Robinson was the man, this should have been finished at the start of the year.

      I have a lot of respect for him as a manager but this just smells like Goodwin MKII.

      I look forward to him being hated and then hounded out due to his brand of football in a year. 

      This has all the hallmarks of Goodwin 2.0.

      The way things have been going, I think robbo leaving is best for both parties. I’m alot less upset than I would have been 6 months ago. Can only hope the rumours about a robbo/playing staff rift are true and we can finish the season strongly.

      This really seems like last resort type of shit cause why wouldn’t you just go get him when you sacked Thelin waited months and now fighting to stay out of the relegation playoff, bizarre stuff

      See we are back on the Merrygoround then.

      Two interesting choices came to look, one of whom I could have gotten excited about. And then we fall back to someone of the mould that probably won’t work for us.

      Please prove me wrong, but this isn’t inspiring or encouraging.

      This screams of Goodwin 2.0.

      St Mirren fans will accept being a plucky underdogs playing route 1 but Aberdeen fans won’t. Robinson style of football and recruitment will not translate to Aberdeen so he’ll need support.

      I also dont think Robinson has been that good as St Mirren manager. Two top 6 finishes in seasons where Hearts, Hibs and Aberdeen had all timers. Beat Celtic in a cup final where Celtic were playing a mad 1-8-1 inshallah tactics under the worst manager the SPFL has ever seen

      Amazing, I thought the long wait was due to waiting for someone being free in summer. I wonder if there is a panic over relegation causing this move now.

      Looks like I’m in the minority, but I think he’s a good manager and could be a McInnes MK2 for Aberdeen. Though I suppose the Aberdeen fans that wanted McInnes gone wont like that 🤣. In my mind it’s a good appointment and will likely lead to them moving up the table

      I say three games because obviously Rangers will finish bottom six after spending £120m in summer.
