  1. Anyone know any supermarkets with soft flooring? Just in case you fell. Onto your knees, for example.

    Asking for a friend.

  2. Seems weird to make the approach now when we’ve been shite for a few months. But fair enough, if Aberdeen have agreed the required fee then I can’t see what would stop this from happening if Robinson is who they want.

Robinson’s football is direct and focuses on being out of possession for long spells so it’s a strange choice from Aberdeen for that reason also, but maybe Robinson would say that style is out of necessity considering St Mirren’s budget.

He canna be any worse than Badloss, can he?

I think I was correct in saying on another thread that Cormack is determined to revisit the depths of the Milne years, this proves it, we’re on the way to a lengthy period as a diddy club again.

His tenure has been an utter disaster (Scottish Cup win notwithstanding)

What have they been doing since January? Bizarre appointment given the expectation at Aberdeen

Should have approached Neic in the showers after getting pumped out of the cup.

  6. Feels like a good move for all parties involved.

Robinson is a good manager, clearly able to turn a group of players into a disciplined and wellcoached team. At the same time, he’s probably peaked at St. Mirren, and things seem to have gone stale, especially after the cup victory.

Aberdeen isn’t bereft of individual player quality, but as a team theyre a mess.

That the poster of this would have dons flair. I’ve never been more sure of anything in my life

  8. I still think Robinson is a good manager, and deserves his shot at a big team. Whether Aberdeen is that big team or not remains to be seen.

  9. Did I hallucinate that someone tipped to be the next manager from the MLS or something was at the game against Celtic in the stands?

  10. Is this a “we are too shite to wait until the end of the season, we need to get someone in now” appointment

  11. Honestly that’s pretty funny if they waited 3 months on his stock falling after the cup so they could potentially pay a little less for him. I mean it cost them a shot at the top 6 in the process but that adds to the funniness of it.

  12. Robinson’s stock was pretty high when Aberdeen first started their manager hunt and they weren’t interested. Now that St Mirren are shit and Robinson has had some cringeworthy post match interviews throwing the players under the bus they’re now thinking he’s the man? Can’t see Aberdeen fans accepting the eye bleeding football style either so it’s probably not going to end well.

I don’t want McGlynn to go there but fuck he’s way better than Robinson.

A pessimist would look at this and say they’ve sacked a manager that won a cup in 2025 and had poor form in this years league, replacing him with a manager that won a cup in 2025 with poor form in this years league

Hiring the St Mirren manager after a purple patch of form didn’t work.

So maybe hiring the St Mirren manager after a shite patch of form will?

  16. I expect that whoever replaces Robinson at St. Mirren will outshine Robinson at Aberdeen. Everyone kinda knew their director of football, or whatever he is, is not a serious man.

This is the most Scottish football headline I’ve read all week. The ambition on display here is truly breathtaking. I’m just picturing the boardroom meeting where this was hailed as a masterstroke. Honestly, it’s so bleak you almost hav

Is Allan Burrows the biggest conman in Scottish Football? It looked like Motherwell went backwards under him and don’t seem to have missed him since he left and the same seems to be happening at Aberdeen. Despite this he seems to be well thought of?

This could honestly be the best situation for me. We’ve been awful all season but there’s no way we would sack him because of everything he has done before.
