Just a pure meltdown. Crying about absolutely everybody under the sun while not even giving a single mention to their own wee group of Spiderman wannabe's who literally started the whole thing.
I thought we couldn’t be caught but they’re closing the gap

Even the Huns on their Page is cringing at that post. 0 Mention of their own fans. Who btw there was at least 3x the rangers fans on the pitch looking to cause bother than there was Celtic fans celebrating.

I’m aware this sub has a rule against X posts, but I felt like the pure gale and hypocrisy of this shite was worth seeing.

Ironic they mention it would not happen in Manchester when they wrecked the whole city after they got pumped aff zenit 😂😂😂

Their absolute refusal to name and shame the Onion Bears or take any responsibility sums their fans up. I know it’s a bit like “not all Rangers fans” but when the full stadium is singing about killing Catholics, I tend to think that it’s most Rangers fans.
I’ll keep repeating: the only two incidents like this in Scottish football of the past ten years are the Scottish Cup final in 2016 and the game on Sunday. The common denominator is Rangers losing and their fans being unable to take it.

“It would not happen in Manchester” 🤔

“to invade the pitch in reaction to events on it” are they talking about their own fans there?
“our fans place din danger before and after the match by a chronic lack of segregation” again, are they talking about the right set of fans here? Because I am sure it is a Celtic fan in hospital after being stamped on.
“allowed to storm the turnstile – not for the first time” eh? I miss something, or did they not ban away support for nearly a decade? When did that happen?

“Stormed the pitch in reaction to events on it’ is doing some very heavy lifting

Well in fairness it didn’t happen in the stadium in Manchester 😆

there’s sore losers and then there’s Rangers

Aside from the Ibrox disaster graffiti, they only have their own fans to blame for the problems they created.
They also don’t mention, It was a Celtic fan who was injured and Celtic players and staff who were attacked.

Wait a second.. hold on… K, real quick.. I’m not the biggest soccer fan and I watch a Celtic game every now and again with my dad because he’s a fan. So.. I watched the game and everything that took place after.
Now..correct me if I’m wrong but I swear I saw people in blue jerseys throwing FIRE fucking.. FIRE into the designated Celtic Fans seating area.
Blaming the police? This is wild that they would release a statement like this pointing the blame at everyone but themselves, it’s almost promoting them to do it again. Do they not have cameras? Do they not have eyes and saw what.. Oh I don’t know THE WORLD SAW??
Just admit things didn’t go well, both fan bases needs to relax and be civil, security may not have been the best this day but you are hooping to improve things. Were checking cameras to hold people responsible.
Done!
This “letter” makes the team look they’re not firing on all cylinders and seem to be way behind on what it means to run a professional origination. You’re team didn’t win, yeah that sucks.. but guess what that’s sports and this happens.
They need to join the rest of the world in 2026, this is such an awful press release.

Didn’t they attack a member of our staff? Funny how they’ve not acknowledged that

The whataboutery is fuckin nonsense. Both sides have fan elements to blame and have (as expected) ruined it for the majority of fans. Of course storming the park was gonna get a reaction. Just mostly a bunch of grown up children playing at the “hold me back” game
Lot of you need to check yourselves.

No mention of Hart having to clear glass from his box, MOR getting things thrown at him or singing about killing catholics. Just missed that part out, selective thinking.
Always the victims.

That will be the last derby game with away fans for a very long time. Perhaps ever.

No way have they completely failed to mention their own fans behaviour 😂 incredible levels of staunchness on display here.

Quite some collective amnesia there.

I’m a neutral, Newcastle fan, but i don’t remember seeing Celtic fans running at Rangers fans after the match. The grafitti left by the Celtic fans wasn’t a good look but Rangers fans once again showing how scum they are.
Can’t see away fans at Old Firm games for a while after this.
