      I can appreciate what has happened to the club after messi left, but this sounds like rationalising the decision rather than owning up to what happened. No one would’ve expected lamine to be world class player.

      He can play AMF.

      I wouldn’t keep Lewan who get almost same salary and also same age. Messi will be way effective than Lewandowski.

      You can give number of justifcations but we can all agree that Messi deserved a better exit and Laporta not been transparent about the whole issue.

      So much hate towards Messi these days, he was 34 years old (Lewa too), he won’t be effective etc. this is the best football player still, and I am sure he is still better than any Barca player right now. He can’t make a team worse from a football perspective.

      the thing is, knowing that its impossible to bring Messi now, we should all be able to look at things this way and agree Laporta remains the better choice.

      When bringing was possible though? Hearing the news then would have had us slamming our heads against the wall.

      But no point doing that now. Our team is doing great, and we need the President to continue making the executive decisions up top. The most frustrating one’s out of the way anyway.

      We all love Messi, but this club have to move forward, Messi is in the past now, we have an excellent, young and talented players which haven’t gotten to their prime yet, let’s support them and make this club great again.
