Would you vote for Font if it means the women’s team will be gone in a few years but men’s team will be a lot more stable financially? Or would you vote for Laporta whose reputation is very bad but he will try to support both women’s and men’s teams?

Barcelona needs to create value in all fronts, with basket , with femini, with all the teams. Is more than a club because it needs to elevate the city not only the soccer team.
laporta is far from perfect and ultimately he is a business man and we should never veer into cult of personality behavior with him, but you can hardly say his project failed. watching barcelona the past two years has been incredible, and the best is yet to come. barça femení were our only shining light during the past terrible years, they deserve respect.

Laporta is a compulsive lier, we only have to see how he lied and cheated Leo Messi. He has zero credibility. He is a failed lawyer and failed politician, what people here call a “vividor”. Font is a successful selfmade businessman. Laporta doesn’t even has a job. How does he pay the bills? You don’t have to be Sherlock to guess it.
There is no guarantee that we will be financially stable under Font. There is a higher chance that it would get worse

Femini has just as much right to field and play under the Barca banner as the men’s team. It’s an absolutely ridiculous idea to let the team go. I understand wanting to give the men’s team more funding, but Barcelona isn’t just a men’s FC anymore. It’s a baquet club, women’s FC, and a men’s FC. We need a president that has interest in allowing expansion into the adventures because in the end of the build it will be bringing in an insane amount of money, interest, investments, and fans to the club.
The women’s team is a must-have. I will be **extremely** disappointed if anything happens to them. We’re not some scum club who only did it because it was expected of us (Madrid), we did it because we care about expanding the sport to women and value their contributions greatly.

Nope, and I think it would be bad for the club (and terrible PR). We have the best women’s team in the world, a universe apart from Real Madrid. Our club is so great also because our diversity, we’re not only a men’s football team like most, we’re also a women’s team, a basketball team, a handball team, a hockey team, a futsal team… Plus all the amateur sections like rugby or wheelchair basketball team. How many teams in the world can say this?
