  1. tbh he is not making the case he thinks he is.
the players cannot be compared of what they were 2 years ago. And a serious case can be made that all the players that Xavi initially gave chances to or trusted with are coming good today.

  2. Please we all know who laid the foundations for this flick project

I am taking no credit away from flick but xavi introduced yamal, cubarsi, balde, gavi and Fermin into the team (that’s 5 of our starting 11) he trusted them and gave them important minutes and it was this trust that they matured into world class players and they needed 2-3 years to mature because they were so young

Plus in his last season ge didn’t even have pedri fully fit , gavi got injured, fdj was in and out , rapha and ferran were injured for a long time

Considering what has happened to the team after messi left Xavi played a crucial role in rebuilding this team

Wtf I know Laporta is who the club needs right now but goddamn he is disrespecting a lot of club legends. I know it’s election period but please shut the fuck up.

  4. People on r/soccer are wierd.

They claim we should respect Xavi for his years in Barcelona. And I agree.

But why not Laporta? He also served as well.

And, as for, Xavi, How he got treated was bad. Laporta shouldn’t have done that. But after that, aligning with Font and giving statement after statement just before election, makes Xavi a political person too. However you take it, he is not doing anything for Barcelona, rather making profit for himself and Font.

Laporta should have done better here. Flick is not a name you should take for your political advantage.

All in all, this looks like apes with their fecal throwing, and bad for our club’s image.
