It will get the “both sides are as bad as each other” treatment as usual which is bullshit.
Union Bears are always the biggest embarrassment in any situation.

They definitely weren’t even the first Rangers fans on the pitch, either. Two twenty stone das were going toe to toe in front of me long before the Banzai charge occurred.

Crazy how both sides are always so irrationally angry after Rangers lose.

I know this isn’t great but at the same time this kinda intensity and animosity between the fans is what makes the the old firm one of(if not the greatest) rivalries in football, obviously I don’t want anyone to get hurt but that ending was probably the highlight of the game as both sides were quite poor

Don’t give the ones in the stand any credit btw. They were just too shitebag to do anything until two lines of police were separating them from the Celtic fans. At that point they charged and acted the big yin.

Celtic fans on the pitch at their end, including young girls getting selfies and hugging their own players. Over exuberant but you see if often in late wins or dramatic wins. Rangers have done it away at Killie etc. Did not warrant a 100 neds running 80m to throw flares into the Celtic end. Total joke.

Should Celtic fans have been on the pitch ?
No they shouldn’t but they seem to constantly get away with it.
Should Rangers fans then enter the pitch and throw flares of course they shouldn’t it’s a disgrace.
Powers that be really have to take responsibility though as it sweeping things under the rug that gets to this stage.

Already seeing the “both sides” ‘impartiality’ of the BBC. I wasn’t there, but from watching on the telly Celtic stormed the pitch in celebration to take photos with the players, the UB stormed on to cause violence.

This is the thing. Aye, it _was_ Celtic fans who ran on first. They ran to take selfies with the players. Didn’t see any of them making a run to the halfway line. Didn’t see them encourage more to follow before advancing. They didn’t conceal their identities. They weren’t armed with flares.
That was the Rangers fans. You didn’t see any Celtic fans getting in about a Rangers player or a staff member. You see a Rangers boy getting huckled for doing exactly that
Celtic fans shouldn’t have run onto the pitch. Yer just asking for trouble. The Rangers fans, or rather, their ultra section, piled on looking to fight
Both sides are at fault for invading. Rangers fans have gone a step further, in how they acted _after_ invading the pitch

This thread perfectly encapsulates the Old Firm and their hard-of-thinking fans. Neither side prepared to take responsibility for the obvious bad behaviour of their own fans. “But, but, you started it. No, no, you started it”. Pathetic stain on our country, the both of them.

They were always going to go onto that pitch/cause trouble that’s why they brought something to help stop them being identified.
