Injuries.
Bad form + injuries + no good new players + no new tactics + certain players stopped over performing like doue
For me, especially after watching this game I screamed at my TV maybe 50 times why don’t you shoot the fucking ball?
There are so many wasted opportunities… the winger will run to the byline and have a terrible cross, or make the worst past possible and not allowing us to shoot… two seasons ago it was the opposite where we shot a bunch, even though we didn’t score a lot of the shots we made
Not capitalising on the summer transfer window. Plain and simple
It started with selling Donnarumma and not reinforcing the team properly. Pure arrogance from Lucho. It his fault we’re in this situation and I’m sick of the players constantly getting all the blame. Now we’re in this dire situation… he’s not reinventing himself, it’s the same boring Vitinha as third CB set up.
There are worst issues to have than being wasteful in attack imo. If the attacking numbers are there, thats something to work with at least.
We can always bounce back.

No preseason and underestimating how much a world class keeper influences the game.
No hunger no passsion it’s not like last year. Last year they were beast waiting for any opportunity to strike now it feels like they are taking everything for granted and that they think they are above everyone. The only great match they did was the 5-0 against marseille that’s all.

Combination of a few things. Also, I’d like to point out that the season isn’t over yet sooo maybe wait… but what’s GONE wrong so far is this (I think)
•On paper you can look at your squad and pick the starting XI. Each time you will pick the SAME XI (so lack of competition within the team.
•I want to believe that the players had arrogant hubris in winning the CL, so they probably thought it’d be easy to do it again… they’re probably trying to turn on their try-hard mode MUCH too late into the season
•injuries and players being overworked
Club world cup messed up our pre season
They tired.
Club world cup and not running team C in ligue 1 for 2-3 months minimum afterwards, to rest and prepare players. Horrible gestion and horrible mercato. That’s the way to destroy a season.

we should have offloaded Ramos for someone else
and clearly a healthy Dembele and Fabian Ruiz are crucial to this team
