The overhead kick in the League Cup Final was proper Roy of the Rovers stuff and is probably my favourite. He was just back from a broken leg and comes on to score the winner right at the end.

But for me, the diving header Vs them in the Scottish Cup Semi-Final in 1998 at C.P.
The fact it was McCoist’s last OF game at C.P and the fact he got to score against them for the last time in their own ground, the emotion from Super when he scored and the absolute limbs by the fans were unreal.

A high ball by cooper, all slippery and wet, a fumble by Bonner, the ball is in the net, the scorer was Ally, who leads the gers attack and once more the rangers, again Glasgow rangers are second to none. Might not be my favourite goal but because of that song it lives rent free in my head ever since I was a child

Not because it was his best goal, but because it was the first time I went to Ibrox.

He scored plenty before I started watching Rangers (97) but I saw his last ever hat trick vs Falkirk, and watched the diving header against Celtic on the tele in the Scottish Cup semi at Parkhead. The latter is definitely my favourite of his.

Scored a beezer against someone… maybe Aberdeen at ibrox late 80s early 90s. Off his chest turned and unleashed a cracker.
