Was thinking we desperately needed a left sided experienced CB but Ferran’s performances and Lewys age pretty much changed that for me, we need a lethal forward

  2. Striker. Even though we might lack superstar big names is defence, we have a good amount of good enough players there, plus our homegrown gems. But if we had a world class striker he would score 50 goals per season with the number of chances we are generating.

I would be okay with signing senesi on a free as the cb signing + calling up Cortes and maybe signing an low cost developmental cb (like nijstad) if it means we sign a osimhen or woltemade at striker.

a few months ago i would have said a cb but it’s gotta be a number 9. we need a clinical finisher

CB, at least we have choices there. We need a striker more, but barring Haaland, I don’t know who else is consistent enough or clinical enough for us even with unlimited money. Alvarez is in a rough patch now, Haaland too for that matter. Kane won’t move from Bayern.

If we splurge 70-100m on a mid striker who ends up being just another Ferran 2.0, what s the point

Striker is a priority in my opinion – we have no striker options to call upon

In the CB positions, you still have cubarsi, eric Garcia, araujo, Martin, Christensen (tho injured) – Kounde can play there if required and so can de Jong – some might be unreliable but you have options – in the striker position next season would be just ferran

Striker. My man Yamal would have 30 assists every season with a proper striker.

Get a cf only if it’s a steal or wait to buy someone big next window. Cb if the budget is 60-70 mil.

striker. Theres a slight chance La Masia can save us at the back, but ive never heard of La Masia producing a good striker ever.

    Priority should be:

    1. Star Striker

    2. Starting caliber CB

    3. depth level full back, ideally can play either flank

Striker, Osimhen would be good but also very expensive, Troy Parrot maybe, 29 G/A in 36 games for AZ Alkmaar, a lot cheaper, just not as big and physical as Osimhen, Vlahovic on a free if we become extremely desperate

Centerback. Our wingers are major offensive threats. We have more weaknesses in the back. Cubarsi could use an experienced player with positional awareness to pair with, and Flick’s system really needs everyone working together to hold the offside trap.

  14. Personally, I’d go for CB. We’ve shown we can score even without Lewy and Ferran as our serviceable but wasteful striker. But our defense is just too woeful. We didn’t lose to Atletico and Inter because we didnt score enough, we lost because they scored too many.

  15. As I’ve said on previous posts, we missed the striker market. The window Alvarez moved to Atletico was the window we needed to move if we wanted someone. In the summer the only options we’ll have are players playing in mediocre leagues at best (Osimhen) which make it hard to judge how good they actually are, or unproven options (younger strikers such as Etta Eyong etc…) that are as big a gamble as handing the starting striker position to Ferran. I do believe we should definitely prioritize a striker, but ultimately it would be 10x easier to get a CB in the upcoming window.

Has to definitely be a striker. Our strategy is to outscore our opponents and if we don’t have a striker that is able to convert a lot of our chances, we are not going anywhere.
