Some players look so tired I don’t know what is going on in training. Are they not doing shooting drills mahn

Those Cunha and Mbeumo shots in the first half are so, so poor. Especially Mbeumo skying it from there. Have to be hitting the target there.
Can’t help but feel sorry for Bruno too. He could have easily broken the assist record this season if his teammates weren’t so wasteful when he puts chances on a plate for them.

Going to go against the grain and say we did have a fair number of good chances. On another day we could have scored three. I wonder if this is why Carrick didn’t panic, because he thought we were making enough and didn’t need to risk things by changing them around

The amount of skied shots not just in this game but in general are so fucking frustrating.

You can literally see it real time, how the fitness levels of these players have gone down since Carrick has come in. I was banging my head against the wall when all these journalists were doing their PR about praising him for “reducing intensity” in the training or giving players off.
We’ve absolutely played abysmall brand of football since Arsenal and deserve this tbh. Yes Amorim was not the right coach, but he damn right was the perfect man-manager. Had our fitness levels at peak, negativity trolls were thrown out and excellent recruitment.

What did I just see Mbeumo do at 59 minutes. You’re 2 meters away from the goal any touch would have got it past the keeper there
this is the biggest issue with Carrick’s attacking build up, this free role he affords his forwards means no one is in the right position and we don’t get enough bodies in the box.
Cunha should be were the left circle is, Mbuemo should be where the top circle is and Casemiro should be where Mbuemo is

That mbeumo miss man…

That early Cunha chance! He had so much space and only managed to clear the ball.
But I am surprised the XG is so low. This looks like at least three goals to me. Quite some big chances.

Cunha at 6 minutes, Mbeumo 2 chances and that Yoro chance.
How none of them were scored is fucking ludicrous. Chances were there again.

Newcastle came with an intent and the intent never faded even with 10 men down.
We are stretched thin on injuries
We had to rely on Malacia and Ugarte
Remember carrick is doing miracles with Amorim team . We were targeting top 6 now we are in top 3 atm..
POS scholes if you can’t help don’t belittle your former teammate
